Back to more pics! Finishing off Season 2. In the second part of the Tallulah Bankhead episode–and yes, I said Tallulah Bankhead–called Caught in the Spider’s Den, Robin finds himself captured and tied to a chair. We never really see the ropes, so I kinda doubt in real life he was tied, but it’s still a pretty sexy pose. By the way, for my money, this has the single funniest scene in the series when Tallulah drinks a glass of milk.
Next begins one of probably the best bondage scenes in the series, one I had been waiting for in a while. In Pop Goes the Joker, Robin is disabled by landing face first in a gooey muck, meant to be sculpting class for an art class he’s trying to put on to lure wealthy millionaires. Making the gunge fans, like myself, quite happy. I do find it amusing that his mask…
Getting back on this, but the bondage later on is mostly implied, so I’ve skipped some of them. I’m noticing that in general, as the series goes on, the “bondage” dwindles a bit, but the comedy level goes up. I have to admit, I’ve found myself laughing out loud quite a few times, and enjoying myself even if they aren’t tied up. I really underestimated how funny the show was.
First, Batman is strapped down in “That Darn Catwoman”.
Later, both are tied to a giant catapult in “Penguin is a Girl’s Best Friend”.
Interestingly enough, a few episodes later, Robin also gets strapped down in “The Joker’s Last Laugh”.
