Accordingly, I have updated my Web Links page to include places where I have found Lycra and Superhero wear. An incomplete list, to be sure, but a good place to start.

In case you missed it in my post from yesterday, there’s a great new (to me, anyway) blog out there called Spandexland. Be sure to visit if you haven’t already.
Also, if you didn’t know, there’s a new children’s network out there called The Hub that you may be interested in. Why? Because in the evenings Monday through Thursday, they’re replaying episodes of the 60’s TV show Batman. As in the one with Burt Ward as the ultimate twink spandex hero. Visit their site and look at the “TV Schedule” link at the top right, and go to the evening hours. Go catch it, laugh at the comedy, and lust after Robin! Guess my post from yesterday was pretty appropriate. 😉
This is not a fetish site, but a serious comic geek one (as far as I can tell). Still, it can easily be used for our purposes, so I pass it along:

Also, wanna do some superhero shopping? I love this site for shirts & more!http://www.superherostuff.com/
I got my favorite “Spiderman in Bondage” shirt there, which I made into the header design of this blog!
Enjoy!
(NOTE: This is also posted in my Baring My Sole blog, but I feel it’s important enough to repeat here.)
Even though I’m out of town, I did hear about the Prop 8 overturn. Hooray! For those of you not following the story in California, the quick recap is this: after a brief period where same sex marriages were declared by lower courts as legal, they were voted down in a popular vote known as Proposition 8. This Prop 8 was then challenged in our state courts, and the judge ruled yesterday in sweeping, unmistakable terms that it is unconstitutional. While our work is by no means over, this is a huge step in the right direction, and great news for the state of California.
Will Sam (my BF) and I tie the knot? (And for once, I’m not talking about bondage.) We’ll see… I think it may be likely! Although the when is the tricky part of the question…
I went to this the last time. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the turnout (I heard previous ones were better), so I’m not sure if I’ll go again. Although if I hear from people who are also going, I’ll consider it–comment me!
Even though the flyer doesn’t mention it, there is a $7 door donation, profits go to an AIDS charity, so that’s always nice!
I do wish LA would get their act together… the parties in NY look amazing! But at least we’re up to party #7 now, so that’s gotta count for something.
Oh, and by the way, I’ve updated my links page. Take a look!
I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the Archie comics has a new gay character. Here’s a pic… not bad! I’d do him. 😉
On a side note, I recently went out shopping, and couldn’t resist buying this shirt. It’s from the company Junk Food Clothing, and you can sometimes find it at Macy’s.
With Superhero stuff being so popular in mainstream, it’s so easy to find hot stuff like this now…
While I was away, this article came out… in the New York Times, no less! While it speaks more about gay comic characters, the Skin Tight parties in NY get mentioned. It’s interesting to see our fetish being “exposed” for all the world to see… although it does lead me to hope we’ll see more hot hero-on-hero action from all they guys inspired by this report!
