Wow, featured on Gay Demon!

I was wondering why so many people were stopping by!  If you’re a new visitor, welcome!  And if you’re a regular, you may be interested to know this blog was just featured on the “Editor’s Pick” section of GayDemon’s blog!

I have to say, I’m quite honored.  Click here to read the review.  They did get a few details wrong… I’m in Southern California, not Northern (Los Angeles, to be exact), and I’m now 42 (although to their credit, I realized I had not updated that info until about 10 seconds ago).  But those are minor details.

The future of this blog

After the announced changes to the google blogger policy, I still feel it is a sign of them cracking down on adult blogs in general.  So after some thinking and advice, I will be working on getting this blog self-hosted, so I can have more freedom.  That could mean some down time, a period where things don’t work, and possibly another new look to the blog.  Now I’ll have to work with WordPress (which I have no experience with) and a hosting company (which I have very little experience with).  But I feel I should do it now, as I have some time to work on it–while later on may not be the case.  Also, this may mean this version of the site and all it’s pics may possibly be going away, so please take some time to go back and save whatever pics you like now before it’s too late.

Big step forward: Blog on pause

So I can’t go into to too much detail… but part of the reason I’ve been so busy lately is that my BF and I are taking a very big personal step forward in our relationship.  Now, in the interest of maintaining some privacy (especially his), I won’t go into further detail.  But it marks a very exciting and positive time for us.

As you can imagine, since we’re prioritizing other things, the blog may take a back seat for me for a while.

I will try to get back to the blog as soon as get through this hectic time.  I do plan to return, so don’t panic.  🙂

Taking Unscheduled Breaks

So, not exactly sure why, but I haven’t been into the blog as much lately.  There’s been a sense of detachment for me.  It’s not like before, where I felt a bit unappreciated.  But it’s not quite as important to me as it once was.  It’s kind of hard to explain, and I may elaborate in a later post.  Mainly, I think I want to put a bit more focus back into my regular life, boyfriend, and real life people.  I feel like I have more online kinky friends than real life regular friends.  And while I love the online kinky friends, it’s feeling a bit unbalanced.

Now, unlike before, I don’t plan on quitting the blog.  No need to panic.  And I still plan on doing as many updates as I can, and so far, it’ll still be the usual Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.  But if you do notice a day, or two, or three, or maybe even up to a…

We did it!

I don’t know if you saw this, but yesterday, this blog hit #1 at Best Male Blogs!

And yes, that’s my other blog, Baring My Sole, at #3.  Baring beat out GayDemon of December of last year, but #4 is the highest this blog ever got before.  It’s kinda cool to say that both of my blogs have been voted #1 now, and when I get a chance, I’ll be updating my “Vote for me” link on my right sidebar.  😉
