Lately I haven’t been discussing my personal life as much, as I’m finding myself becoming more of a private person as the blog gets successful. I certainty do enjoy blogging, but I think of it as just one facet of my life, and compartmentalize it mostly as a separate endeavor from the rest of my life.

I have been going through some stressful situations in “real life”, mostly having to do with health issues. While I and my BF and fine, I’ve been watching family members go through some difficult events that I’d rather not go into. On a good note, they have largely been resolved and all is much better now. But it was still an ordeal.

At the same time, I’ve been encountering some job stress of late. Again, it’s improved at present, but it was also a rough time. Fortunately, while he’d probably not like me saying it here, my BF has been incredibly supportive through all…

Just letting you all know I made a special appearance under a new page called “Superhero Community” on Paublo Greene’s How to Kill a Superhero website. I discuss how my superhero fetish began. If you want to read it, visit here! You can also submit to him your own stories–you can find out more at the bottom of the post at the link.

Superhero stuff is big right now.  And it’s pretty easy to find clothing and even underwear for most heroes.  But Robin is always more difficult.  I do know of these two (in fact, I own the first pair, and will be modeling them here soon), but the Diesel has both Batman & Robin, and the other are boxers.  I’m more of a briefs guy.  Boxer briefs are fine, but not as much regular boxers.

So in my quest, I ran across the following post which shows Robin briefs.  I had seen these pics before, but never knew about their origins.  Sadly, though, the post is from 2007, and the store they link to no longer seems to exist.  Anyone know if they can still be found anywhere?

And speaking of elusive underwear, I’m also semi-obsessed with this pair from Diesel.  Not superhero related, but definitely kinky.…

This time, they’re not all superhero related.  As per a request of my BF, I’m genuinely trying to wind down buying new superhero related clothing.  Not that I do everything he says, but I do have to admit he does have a small point.  I’ve now calculated that I can wear a different hero shirt each day for nearly a month before running out.

Keep in mind, I’m not trying to collect every single hero shirt out there.  Goodness knows I’ve actually passed on quite a few.  But I do like to buy the ones I do like.

I like the Doc Oc arms on this one.  Even my BF had to admit he liked the “Journey into Mystery” part of it on the upper left.  And for the record, the very first time I wore this shirt out, I got a compliment.

This one is actually gay pride related.  Target sold these. …

So to be perfectly honest, I have not gotten that far into a new, self-hosted blog.  I got a host, and was nearly immediately confused.  FTP?  php?  MySLQ?  My God.  This was part of the reason I stopped doing a website in the first place.

Then I sort of realized that I was probably making it a lot harder than I thought, as nowadays, they make it much easier to do a wordpress blog, due to quick installs, etc.  Unfortunately, by the time I realized that, I’m about to head out of town for a work trip for about the next 6 days.  So I’m not really going to get to work on it at all in the near future. So in the meantime, I will continue posting here, but with an erratic schedule starting this upcoming week. I also made one semi-big mistake concerning this blog specifically, Captured Heroes.  It turns out that the domain name captureheroes.com is already…

I was wondering why so many people were stopping by!  If you’re a new visitor, welcome!  And if you’re a regular, you may be interested to know this blog was just featured on the “Editor’s Pick” section of GayDemon’s blog!

I have to say, I’m quite honored.  Click here to read the review.  They did get a few details wrong… I’m in Southern California, not Northern (Los Angeles, to be exact), and I’m now 42 (although to their credit, I realized I had not updated that info until about 10 seconds ago).  But those are minor details.

Now, if you are new, don’t be scared off by all the posts below.  I do plan on continuing, just moving.  The name of the site may change once I secure a domain name.  Check my twitter for latest updates in case you find this blog missing at any point, or visit my main blog tiedfeetguy.com (which…

After the announced changes to the google blogger policy, I still feel it is a sign of them cracking down on adult blogs in general.  So after some thinking and advice, I will be working on getting this blog self-hosted, so I can have more freedom.  That could mean some down time, a period where things don’t work, and possibly another new look to the blog.  Now I’ll have to work with WordPress (which I have no experience with) and a hosting company (which I have very little experience with).  But I feel I should do it now, as I have some time to work on it–while later on may not be the case.  Also, this may mean this version of the site and all it’s pics may possibly be going away, so please take some time to go back and save whatever pics you like now before it’s too late.

For my main blog, TiedFeetGuy, it’s a bit…

So this post probably should have been about the joyous news about DOMA/Prop 8.  And I’ll get to that.  But not long after that news, I got this email from Google:

So this sucks.  What it means is that I have to remove all advertising.  Now,…

So, not exactly sure why, but I haven’t been into the blog as much lately.  There’s been a sense of detachment for me.  It’s not like before, where I felt a bit unappreciated.  But it’s not quite as important to me as it once was.  It’s kind of hard to explain, and I may elaborate in a later post.  Mainly, I think I want to put a bit more focus back into my regular life, boyfriend, and real life people.  I feel like I have more online kinky friends than real life regular friends.  And while I love the online kinky friends, it’s feeling a bit unbalanced.

Now, unlike before, I don’t plan on quitting the blog.  No need to panic.  And I still plan on doing as many updates as I can, and so far, it’ll still be the usual Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.  But if you do notice a day, or two, or three, or maybe even up to a…

You know, kinksters need to come out twice… once as gay, and once as a kinky.

One is not necessarily easier to publicly announce than the other.

It’s gay pride month, and I think we should talk about this from a kinkster point of view.

I personally realized, acknowledged, and came to terms with my passion for bondage way before I acknowledged I was gay.  Thanks to the 60’s TV show Batman (it played in reruns as I was growing up, I’m not quite that old yet, lol), I knew I loved being tied up.  I would constantly roll myself up in blankets as a kid in self-mummification, and my family owned a very long jump rope that I would tie myself to a chair with constantly.  (And I’ve noticed that jumpropes have been the gateway toy for many a budding kinkster.)  I knew somehow it was “wrong”… I would do it only when I was alone,…
